The Christian core values1. The Atonement and the new life The Atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary is the foundation of the values of Christians. A strong faith, understanding, repentance, and surrender to Christ, gives us the new life, the new birth. We become true believers, what we call being a Christian. Grace chair - our insurance The blood of Jesus that was shed on Calvary's cross, which today is sprinkled on the mercy seat in heaven, is our assurance forever and the point of victory of salvation, our seal. Herein lies the eternal cause of the eternal reality of the new life. The Gospel of John chapter 19 explains well Jesus' atoning work on Calvary. It can be read in several places. The letter to the Hebrews elaborates on Jesus' victory in a profound way. 2. The sanctification process The laying on of the works of the flesh and the putting on of the fruits of the Spirit. This is the process of sanctification in a person's life. Lots to say about this. We read about this in Galatians chapter 5. These are the 100 necessities to enter into a victorious, happy meaningful life as a born-again person. These are the 2 points of Christian values that must be in place. People who live only from their senses and in the flesh have no opportunity to understand these secrets, nor get into them. He gave His life - No one could take it Jesus as Lord and Savior in our lives and the foundation of all his victories at Calvary as a foundation is what makes the Christian values real and strong in our lives.

Statement of Faith1. Name of the congregation: The Barn Church. 2. Operations. The Barn Church is an independent, local congregation - organized as an association - which carries out church-building work with associated operations, both nationally and internationally. The congregation will also actively develop relief and development projects on all continents with the aim of helping the poor and needy. The congregation works to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as equip the individual Christian in his faith. To achieve this goal, we emphasize: Evangelism: Jesus has sent us out to preach the gospel to all people, and to deliver and heal in His name. Therefore, we believe that the whole congregation should be a tool for evangelization, where the individual is a witness in their everyday life. The congregation will use various resources to help spread the gospel to all people. Instruction: Preaching and teaching the Word of God, with the accompanying signs and wonders (Mark 16:20). Community: The congregation meets regularly, in the squares and in community groups in the homes or online. The congregation’s vision is to make Jesus known, believed, loved and wholeheartedly followed in a serving and equipping community. We also work to reach out to the multicultural locally and nationally. 3. Basic Creed: 3.1 The Bible is God’s inspired word and God’s revealed will (2 Timothy 3:16-17). 3.2 There is only one true God, a triune God consisting of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. 3.3 Man is saved by repenting of his sins and confessing with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and by believing in his heart that God has raised him from the dead. Man was reconciled to God by the death of his Son, when he made peace by his blood on the cross. 3.4 Baptism in water takes place by full immersion. 3.5 All Christians have the right to the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The first outward sign of the baptism of the Spirit is usually speaking in new tongues. 3.6 All Christians have received healing through Jesus' atonement. The congregation therefore practices prayer for the sick. 3.7 God’s blessing touches the whole of human life with all its aspects, both spiritual, physical, social and material. 3.8 Jesus is coming again soon to collect all who believe in him. We will be caught up into the air to meet the Lord. 3.9 Jesus will reign on earth for a thousand years, as the Bible describes. Then comes a new heaven and a new earth. These points have been included in particular and are written down so that the individual can know our positions on the most elementary questions. 4. Location of the congregation: The congregation’s main premises are located in Hurum municipality - Norway. The congregation will focus on the missionary commission described in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15. Therefore, meetings and activities will take place where the Lord leads. Membership: Any born-again Christian is welcome as a member of The Barn Church. It is expected that members agree with the church’s objective, which is: The Gospel shall be preached to all creation (Mark 16:15). It is also expected that the members live a life in accordance with the life and teachings of the New Testament. Exclusion: According to Matthew 18:15-17 - Romans 16:17-18, in special cases it may be appropriate to expel members from the congregation. This concerns cases where the person lives in conscious sin and does not want to repent despite the congregation’s rebuke, or that person spreads false doctrine, divides the congregation or opposes the congregation's leadership or goals. Income Voluntary donations, which go towards running the church and it’s tasks of preaching the gospel to all creation as described in Matthew 28:19 and Mark 16:15.
